Hello, Wayne here.
You’re probably wondering why Simon and myself would want to launch such a venture, well, as per all these great ideas it came from a conversation in a pub.
I’ve been a long time fan of radio dramas and comedies, and through a sequence of progressively more snacky phones have really got into listening to a lot of BBC Podcasts. So much so that a few years ago, I came up with the idea of It’s A Trap! doing our own Flash Gordon inspired Podcast – Squadron Leader Jack Steel & The Starblade (follow the links for more about that story). As a result, we now have some decent recording kit for doing podcasts (The Podcast Machine), and it was inevitable really it got put to some other use.
So, me and Simon somehow thought it would be a good idea to do our own Movie Review Podcast. We recognise it’s not going to have any exclusive scoops, or bring you reviews from films awaiting general release, but we thought we’d give it a shot.
Our first couple of recordings have gone pretty well so we’re quite encouraged.
